Finished!

Yay the stripy blanket is now complete!
It's been claimed already by my beautiful adopted kitty.
I think he is a beautiful boy.
He's buried himself under the blanket and settled down for a cosy sleep.
So I finally ran out of yarn....
I think it's perfect kitty size and fits nicely on his favourite sleeping spot protecting the sofa from grey fluffy hairs! when he's not underneath it....
I did take it off him for a while to photograph it outside in the sunshine.

I've left the loose ends on because I liked them! I think they added a little more detail to the blanket.

Rolled up and ready to go back inside for my grey furry friend.
Do you think I'm a bit too soft on him?.......don't answer that, I know I am.

    That looks like a good size for throwing over your legs when sitting outside in the early morning having a cuppa. Your kitty is pretty.

    Ah FB, I was looking forward to seeing this and I'm not disappointed - what a beautiful blanket - so bright, so cheery, it brings on a smile - well done you! And your little Kitty is so cute and gorgeous - you must have been very quick to snap that pic - I can see mischief written all over that little face!!! Joy xx

    You did a fabulous job on the blanket and your cat is very handsome :) Lovely colour! I think he will like the 'fringe' too - I remember my cats loved to swat at my yarn/strings/etc.

    If you ever want to keep him off a surface (couch) say because company is coming and you've vacuumed - my mother-in-law puts pieces of tin foil on the couch. They (at least hers) can't stand jumping on it! So they avoid the couch while it is there (they still go on the back though unless she puts it up there too).

      That sounds like a good idea....I think our cat is so pampered I'd make the guest sit on the floor- haha I wouldn't really! :)
