Daisy Daisy x

Hello to you.
Just a super quick post today just to show you what I've been up to.
I've been so tired lately and have been feeling not very with it. So will keep it short.

Here is what I did with the crochet daisy, made a little garland. My bother's girl friend calls it seasonal bunting as I change it often.

I now have the width of my gypsy caravan blanket and have been happily hooking up these simple colourful squares.

Sorry it's so brief should be fighting fit by next week, fingers crossed.

Thank you as always for your lovely comments.

Cosy Cat and CAL

Hello to you.
Hope you're all well and enjoying a little sunshine.
I hooked up this lovely fresh daisy the other day, I think I feel some spring time bunting coming on!
I've added the the ball of wool I found in my stash, again I've left it unfinished in case I have the erge to add to it again.

I've been making granny squares and trying to be good adding them on as I go I have nearly got the right width now.

Betty appears to have claimed it already! She enjoyed finding a sunny patch and snuggling down.
She is so tame now, loving and loyal you'd never have know she was feral.

I hope you will all have a lovely weekend and fingers crossed for some decent gardening weather, my garden certainly needs some attention now. Really looking forward to sowing some seeds too!

Hexagons and Vintage Shopping

Hello to you...
My gosh I was over-whelmed by the lovely comments I had on the last post! Thank you so much lovelies.
It's been a lovely week here in Wales, full of sunshine and good times.
I've recently started crocheting hexagons.
I'm hoping to make a small throw for my sitting room.
Here they are.

Beginning to take shape.
I've been a bit naughty recently, starting projects and not finishing them. My excuse with the cushions is that I'm waiting for new yarn to arrive.

Today has been lovely. My partner usually works on the weekend so it was a lovely treat to spend a Saturday together. We decided to go to a local vintage and antiques show.

It was a lot bigger than I expected, and better, with some real bargains and a huge variety.
We had ice cream too!
So, do you want to know what I came home with?
What's in here?
Ta Da! I've been after one for agggeeeessss!
My lovely partner bought me this ring - the first ring he's bought me... note its on the right hand!
1960s tiger eye silver ring, so pleased.
I'm a very lucky girl.

We popped in to see my parents on the way home and I took a few sunny photos in their beautiful garden.
Hello froggy

Pond dipping.
Daisy.

The Rosa rugosa is very popular with the bees and smells divine.

I hope everyone is having a lovely sunny weekend.

Parents and Pin Cushions...

Hello to you.
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.
It's been sunny here today, hooray! So outside we went.
We visited my parents which is always a popular choice with us all, especially my daughter.
Here are some photos from our visit.

Mum's chives coming into flower.

Pretty in pink tulips

The fish were frisky in the pond.

Lovely cow parsley...so beautiful.
The daisies were too tempting for my daughter and Mum.

Time for daisy chains.

Working together.

Lovely blue sky.

I'm still working on my hoard for the charity craft sale, its growing slowly.
Here is one...
I love doing some crocheting in my Mum and Dad's conservatory it's the perfect light for craft work.
I want a conservatory. I think I'd better put it on my "in your dreams" list.
Got to have a cuppa - it can be thirsty work!

The beginnings of a sunny yellow and orange pin cushion.
Thank you for readings my ramblings.
Hope you have a lovely week whatever you're doing.

Daisy Daisy give me you answer do...

Hello to you.
Hope you've been having a lovely week.
Just a quick post today, inspired by daisies.
I spotted this little pretty in my mum's lawn....I think there over looked sometimes when you look closer you can see the fresh as a daisy colours.

It's hard to do such a pretty flower justice.

I was inspired by the beautiful natural colours in the daisy,

A slight wonky grannie square! with a pretty daisy middle.
I like to look to nature for colour ideas I find sometimes the natural colour schemes are the best.  Thank you for indulging me in one of the things that makes me smile.
