Hexagons and Vintage Shopping

Hello to you...
My gosh I was over-whelmed by the lovely comments I had on the last post! Thank you so much lovelies.
It's been a lovely week here in Wales, full of sunshine and good times.
I've recently started crocheting hexagons.
I'm hoping to make a small throw for my sitting room.
Here they are.

Beginning to take shape.
I've been a bit naughty recently, starting projects and not finishing them. My excuse with the cushions is that I'm waiting for new yarn to arrive.

Today has been lovely. My partner usually works on the weekend so it was a lovely treat to spend a Saturday together. We decided to go to a local vintage and antiques show.

It was a lot bigger than I expected, and better, with some real bargains and a huge variety.
We had ice cream too!
So, do you want to know what I came home with?
What's in here?
Ta Da! I've been after one for agggeeeessss!
My lovely partner bought me this ring - the first ring he's bought me... note its on the right hand!
1960s tiger eye silver ring, so pleased.
I'm a very lucky girl.

We popped in to see my parents on the way home and I took a few sunny photos in their beautiful garden.
Hello froggy

Pond dipping.
Daisy.

The Rosa rugosa is very popular with the bees and smells divine.

I hope everyone is having a lovely sunny weekend.

Parents and Pin Cushions...

Hello to you.
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.
It's been sunny here today, hooray! So outside we went.
We visited my parents which is always a popular choice with us all, especially my daughter.
Here are some photos from our visit.

Mum's chives coming into flower.

Pretty in pink tulips

The fish were frisky in the pond.

Lovely cow parsley...so beautiful.
The daisies were too tempting for my daughter and Mum.

Time for daisy chains.

Working together.

Lovely blue sky.

I'm still working on my hoard for the charity craft sale, its growing slowly.
Here is one...
I love doing some crocheting in my Mum and Dad's conservatory it's the perfect light for craft work.
I want a conservatory. I think I'd better put it on my "in your dreams" list.
Got to have a cuppa - it can be thirsty work!

The beginnings of a sunny yellow and orange pin cushion.
Thank you for readings my ramblings.
Hope you have a lovely week whatever you're doing.

Blossom On The Tree....

 Hello to you
Yesterday my friend and neighbour had a trip to one of North Wales's largest craft and hobby shop,
Abakhan   It also has a pretty good website perfect for a browse.
It was like a sweetie shop in the wool section....
They had a huge range of fabrics
So many pretty prints.

Roll upon roll of bold and bright colours.
How on earth I didn't go wild and spend a fortune, I don't know. I came back with 3 balls of wool and a metre of fabric....I think I was a very good girl.
Hello cherry tree don't you look pretty!
Blossom on the tree.. you know how I feel!
Really pleased with my spring blubs they have really worked this year.....now I just need to remember what I did to make them work!

Sunshine flowers.
Just started hooking another blanket.
Here come the granny squares again!
There's something lovely about these little circles....

Hope everyone has a lovely long weekend.
Fingers crossed for a sunny one.
