Wedding highlights

Hello to you!
I'm back refreshed and back to normal.
I wanted to share with you some of my wedding photos.
Only a few for now as the photographer is still editing the professional ones.

I thought you might like to see the décor.
Inside of the marquee the day before the wedding. We finished at 6pm on the evening before the wedding. I got there with a lot of help from a special friend and family.

Our wedding rings.

Plas Newydd where we were married and my lovely transportation.

The yummy cakes.

Scrabble letters on my Grannie's 100 year old table cloth.

Hand knitted bunting made by the ladies at the centre where my partner works. The honey comb balls are now at my house waiting to find a home.
Very sad waving goodbye to the camper wanted to keep it.

We had a wonderful day. It seemed to go well without and major mishaps.
It was everything we hoped it would be and more.

Will share some more photos soon when the professional photos come through.

I have been crocheting wash cloths this week (starting to make Christmas presents)
I cant show you them yet because the people I am making them for my spy them!

Thank you so much for all your lovely messages wishing luck and kindness.

Bonjour!

Hello and happy Monday.
I'm a little late this week with my post.
Still feeling tired but will be hopefully perking up soon with a change of iron tablets.
We've had some lovely weather today so I am not long in from the garden.

Do you like my bunny?
He says Bonjour to you.
I found the pattern in my new mollie makes magazine (thank you eBay)
He was an absolute pleasure to make.
He is also my first amigurumi toy that has gone right.

I'm still hooking away at my gypsy caravan blanket.
It's growing slowly but surely.

Hope you've all enjoyed a lovely weekend.

I'm Leaving On a Jet Plane...

 Hello, hello.
How are you all?
Well I hope.
I'm off on holiday soon so I thought I'd write a quick post before I leave.
I've started another simple square blanket.
I thought it would be a nice easy project to take on holiday with me.
I've gone for a bluey colour scheme this time.
I little bit different for me as I usually have to have pink in it somewhere!

I've made a start.
I quite like the way its turning out so far.
I think I will enjoy hooking away on holiday.

I've also recently finished a bag for my craft sale in September.

It needs a good iron, but it will have to wait 'till I get back.
Well, again, thank you to the lovely people who commented on my last post, always lovely to hear from you!
Hope you all have a lovely week.
See you when I get back.
xx

A Sunny Weekend

Hello all hope you've all had a wonderful weekends.
I've had quite a busy time this weekend spending time with my family is always something I relish.
Just relaxing and being around the ones who never judge me, just love me.

Well the blanket is growing slowly hopefully by this time next week it should be finished and ready to be used.
Morris Minor for sale outside my favourite vintage shop oh to be rich I would have to have it!
I love the blue colour it suits it perfectly.

More vintage suit cases.
We actually had some proper sunshine this weekend so with out hesitating I was out in my Mum's garden clearing beds and being general dogs body!
Here are some sunny photos of pretty things a found between working.....
Beautiful spring blossom on the Japanese cherry.

One of my favourite spring flowers grape hyacinths.

Rip van winkle daffodil I like the delicate frills.

Sunny yellow daffodil

Chickens enjoying the sun

Very nosey girls!

Forsythia looking wonderfully spring like with the blue sky behind it.

Another step closer to my dream camper! One day I hope but for now a lovely present from my partner.....definitely puts the joy into reading!

Now I have a bit of a confession to make....I'm not a computer wiz in fact I'm pretty rubbish when it comes to computers!
I just about manage to do emails and write blog posts sort of!
So I hope that Lindsay Fultz Jei Crochet and Sarah Jayne will forgive me for not being hugely un computer savvy...
I would like to thank them all for the

Thank you guys for thinking of me x

Little Forgetmenots Granny Blanket

All done!
Hooray I've finally completed my daughters blanket.
It's been a slog but I think its been worth it in the end and she loves it so that's all the hard work worth while.
So here it is modelled by my bed
My daugthers room couldn't be seen for toys with it being half term shes been busy making dens and general mess!
My daughter loves the girly colours
I'm sure it will add a good pop of colour to her bedroom (I'm almost tempted to keep it for my room)
It's still a bit bumpy but I'm sure it will settle down soon.
So after a month of having this as my project I was a bit sad when I finished but excited to start a new project.....I looked through some of my favourite blogs and stumbled upon crochet bunting http://bunnymummy-jacquie.blogspot.co.uk/2010/05/colourful-crochet-bunting.html
Please check out this ladies blog for some brilliant patterns and easy to follow step by step instructions I love it I'm always inspired when I visit.
Making a start on the bunting I can see my whole house being covered in this! Love it.
This it what I will be doing today between building dens and shovelling snow!
