Bring Me Sunshine...



Hello to you.
Hope your well and wonderful?
I feel like the summer holidays are flying away in a blink of an eye.
Where is the time going?
I have been working on a granny blanket which I will show you in my next post, but for now just some garden photos from this week.


Red admiral butterfly and me admiring our huge sunflower, just to put it to scale I'm 5'11.

Some courgettes from our garden.

Hollyhocks and peacock butterfly.

Pretty in pink late flowering rose.

  2. Hello FB, another lovely garden post full of delight!
    I have never seen such a tall sunflower, ever! Whatever are you feeding your plants cause I think I should have some - I'm a shortie at 5'1 and you are tall and blooming elegantly!
    And those butterflies are so gorgeous - no wonder they are enjoying your lovely garden with all those delightful colours - the hollyhocks are amazing! The pink rose is such a gentle sweet bloom! I love them all!

      I know I don't know what I've done to the sunflower to make it grow so big! must be all the lovely welsh rain it gets :)

  3. Wow, fantastic butterfly shots! And those courgettes look great. I'm always really taken by the yellow ones as you don't often see them in the shops...next year I'll try and grow some. x
