Here's a couple of tips I've picked up;
- Tesco Value vinegar 13p a bottle great for descaling kettles and taps
- Make a scouring cleaner using borax bicarbonate of soda and salt of equal quantities
- For sparkling windows use the old house wives preferred method of a few caps of vinegar in hot water buffed off with newspaper my Grannie swears by this and so do I.
- For a cheap and natural solution to air fresheners use a spray bottle with around 200mls of water and add a lovely essential oil of your choice. Lavenders my favourite!
Obviously take care when using these methods and use common sense don't be scouring you antiques!
