Here are a few of my handmades from
last month.
I couldn't help being inspired by the vintage pin cushion picture I found in a magazine and had to have a go making one myself with fabric salvaged from a 1970s pillow case.

Cleaning tips cheap as chips!

       Here's a couple of tips I've picked up;

• Tesco Value vinegar 13p a bottle great for descaling kettles and taps
•  Make a scouring cleaner using borax bicarbonate of soda and salt of equal quantities
• For sparkling windows use the old house wives preferred method of a few caps of vinegar in hot water buffed off with newspaper my Grannie swears by this and so do I.
• For a cheap and natural solution to air fresheners use a spray bottle with around 200mls of water and add a lovely essential oil of your choice. Lavenders my favourite!

Obviously take care when using these methods and use common sense don't be scouring you antiques!
