Crochet Roses and a Walk Around the Garden

Hello and happy Tuesday.
Hope that I find you all well?
First things to show you are my wedding shoes!I used one of my favourite patterns from one of my favourite books, cute and easy crochet with flowers.
I really love hooking up these lovely roses.
Being tall I always knew my shoes would have to be flat, so I picked up these white pumps and thought they could do with some crochet related jazzing up!
I used drops cotton light it was a dream to crochet with.
I'm really pleased with the look of them and think they will fit our vintage wedding theme well.

Parents and Pin Cushions...

Hello to you.
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.
It's been sunny here today, hooray! So outside we went.
We visited my parents which is always a popular choice with us all, especially my daughter.
Here are some photos from our visit.

Mum's chives coming into flower.

Pretty in pink tulips

The fish were frisky in the pond.

Lovely cow parsley...so beautiful.
The daisies were too tempting for my daughter and Mum.

Time for daisy chains.

Working together.

Lovely blue sky.

I'm still working on my hoard for the charity craft sale, its growing slowly.
Here is one...
I love doing some crocheting in my Mum and Dad's conservatory it's the perfect light for craft work.
I want a conservatory. I think I'd better put it on my "in your dreams" list.
Got to have a cuppa - it can be thirsty work!

The beginnings of a sunny yellow and orange pin cushion.
Thank you for readings my ramblings.
Hope you have a lovely week whatever you're doing.

Rainbow Bright

Hello to you....
Just a quick one today as we are in the throws of ripping up carpets and painting walls, not at the same time I hastily add. Sometimes I wish I could do more things at once!
This is what I'm working on this week...
Inspired by rainbows.

The colours haven't come out as well as I wanted on the photo.

I'm wearing my glasses more often these days lots of things to strain my eyes on.

Finally couldn't resist showing you these Tulips called Barcelona there very bright and have added much needed colour to the garden.
Right well my daughters in bed so back to the painting at the other end of the house!
Hope everyone is having a lovely week.

Sushine and Bank Holidays

Hello to you.
It's been glorious here the sun has been shining and I have even managed to get out in a t shirt.
Here in Wales our bank holidays are usually wet and grey.....but not this one sunshine all the way.
We got a lot done in the garden.
A huge orange tulip.
This tulip made me smile and reminded me of a boiled egg!
Beans ready to be planted out runners and French.
Before.....
and after.

The beans should really take off now there in the veg plot.

Now...just got to find a place for all these cheeky seedlings!
The plastic green house above has been fab and saved my window sills this year it was a bargain too.
The light sunny yellow from these primroses has inspired the paint colour for my daughters room, to be painted soon wish me luck!
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
